Dusty groove america: the best place to find soulful music

our ideas

If you are into collecting records and Soulful music is your thing, you need to visit this store in Chicago or online @ www.dustygroove.com. For me, a brazilian music collector, DGA has become my place to go when buying online… actually, I rarely buy in stores these days. This people have a bast catalog that grows virtually every day complemented by a search motor that makes your buying experience super smooth. Each album has a little review that tells you who played on it, the tracks that are included, and a comment that is pretty close to what the record sounds like. DGA even have their own label in which they have reissued some pretty cool records, what shows their compromise with the music industry and us: the buyers. In the “Torrent” era, is cool to see a record store taking the risk with the publishing house to supply us with the music we want to buy. Some times I feel stupid Buying, but as they are, I’m compromised with an industry that is evolving and for me is the biggest source or inspiration.
